Why shops in Uganda quote different prices
This page shows the value of the gold itself at the international spot price. Jewellers and dealers in Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja add making charges, their margin, purity testing and local taxes, so shop prices for jewellery are usually higher, and buying prices for old gold are usually lower. Use the spot value as your reference when you negotiate.
