How OKX's Automated Scanner Misclassifies UAS

UAS has been incorrectly flagged as a “honeypot” by OKX's automated token-risk scanner. We are making this public because the wider crypto community deserves to understand how these algorithmic tools work — and how they systematically produce false positives against legitimate, compliance-focused projects.

Honeypot detection tools used by OKX and similar centralised platforms rely on pattern-matching heuristics and simulated-trade tests. They flag tokens whose contracts include admin controls, compliance-gating, or treasury management functions — features that are deliberately designed into UAS to meet regulatory requirements and protect community funds. A scanner cannot distinguish between a malicious honeypot trap and a responsible token contract built for a regulated financial ecosystem.
